BWCB Beaufort Band, led by our Musical Director Oliver Picken, encourages, inspires and supports adults to develop their playing skills, both individually and as an ensemble. Some of our members have only a little band experience, whilst others are more proficient and some have been inspired to take up a second instrument in order to play with this friendly band.

Players will be introduced to a wide range of repertoire and genres of band music, participating in a variety of performances throughout the year.

Beaufort Band was formed in 2013 and Oliver has been conducting us since 2024.

Rehearsals

We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at Nine Mile Ride Primary School. Details of our rehearsals venue can be found here.

Concerts

In 2025 we performed two concerts.

• July 2025, Relay for Life, Piggott School, Wargrave

• Dec 2025, Christmas Concert, Shinfield St Mary's, Reading​
